After researching several marathon training plans, I thought I had settled on using Hal Higdon’s Novice 1 Marathon Training Plan for my first marathon. I used his training plans for my last two half marathons and I was pretty happy with them. Buuut for my first full marathon, my coach Elizabeth recommended that I use the 16-week training schedule on MarathonRookie.com. Hey, I am a true rookie after all!
