1. Taking a rest day is definitely difficult… especially when it’s an injury induced rest day! I am beyond itching to get out for a run, even if it’s only a couple of miles.

    I actually find the discipline to get out of bed and go running really hard. I am not a morning person at all! I like running after work though because it helps me de-stress from the day so that when I get home I am not all hyped up from the office!

    • Oh I hear ya. I took an unplanned rest day yesterday (taking my own advice!) and I am now DYING to get out and run! Thankfully I have a nice 4-miler on schedule this afternoon. I’ll actually be running on A1A but I won’t expect to see you since I believe you are still recovering from Chicago. Maybe another time! You want to know what’s tough about early morning runs? It’s not so much the getting up part, but the getting to bed early the night before. I struggle with that! It’s so hard to go straight from dinner to bed, ya know? Who does that? When that happens, there’s always the afternoon…
